About me

I am an interior decorator, home stager and re-designer servicing St. John's, NL, Canada and the surrounding area.  I have a diploma in interior decorating from Academy Canada (2006), a diploma from the Haverhill Institute of Home Staging and Re-design, and have successfully completed the highly acclaimed 'Certified Staging Professional' course when it was offered here in St. John's, NL for the first time in October, 2009.  Have a look at my website to learn more about me and to see some of my work.

I can help you sell homes quickly and for top dollar by using proven techniques to prepare them for the market so that they appeal to the greatest number of potential buyers.  Home staging is essentially marketing, not decorating.  Statistics show that 63% of buyers will pay more for a move-in ready home (Maritz 2006), 79% of people would pay up to $5000 to get their home ready for the market ...if they knew what to do (Maritz 2005).  Homegain surveyed 2000 real estate salespersons who said that home staging brought in 349% ROI (return on investment). These are just a few statistics to show that home staging can and will work to sell homes quickly and usually for more money.....meaning more money for the Realtor and the homeseller.  

Remember!  The investment you make in staging your home for the market will be less than the first price reduction (if you don't stage it).
