When I am not spending time with the family and all the activities that go with having four children I enjoy outdoor activities.  I love to hike, bike, swim, and run.  Over the years I have run in 5k and 10k races, various distance triathalons, and several variations of biathalons.  Hiking has become a family affair with the whole family getting involved.  I especially enjoy hiking the Grand Canyon with my boys.  As I am getting older it is harder to keep up with the youngsters!

I have begun to train for my first (and more than likely only) marathon.  I am going to complete the P.F. Chang's Rock and Roll Marathon in Phoenix in January.  I have a goal of sub four hours and a nice cold beer at the finish line!
