Recently, escrow closed on the sale of a rental home both my wife and I owned. We listed the house with Charlie, because he really earned our trust. There was a number of real estate agents we had discussed listing the house, but Charlie did his homework and provided us with a thorough analysis of the area. His attention to detail and the recommendations he made allowed us to sell the house very quickly and for $11,000.00 more than we anticipated. Sounds simple, but we had a tenant who would not allow a lock box for easy access to view the home, and the house was to be shown by appointment only, which meant the tenant had to be home. Despite these obstacles, Charlie made himself available at a moments notice and generated a number of offers. The property had sentimental value because it was previously owned by my deceased mother. We accepted an offer from a family with two young children. I felt this praticular family would really appreciate the house and continue to provide the tender loving care the house deserves.
