Who is this guy?
I'm a former Flight Attendant. After fifteen years "on the line", I realized it was time for a change. I had always been interested in Real Estate, so it seemed like a pretty natural direction. With the help of some friends, I landed an interview with one of Chicago's Top Producers who was launching a real estate "team" and was asked to join. What a great beginning! I was working shoulder to shoulder with a very motivated, knowledgeable, salesman. I quickly got my feet wet and began the tough work of learning the trade.
After a year and a half on the team, I was ready to take-off again. Only this time, instead of being on an airplane, I was taking the leap to sell on my own. I joined Re/Max Edge located on the North-side of Chicago, in Wrigleyville. It's a much smaller office with a friendly, intimate feel, and it's located in the neighborhood I consider my home. My first year here has been very successful, and I love working among my friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. With a Starbucks right next door, I'm always happy for a friend to stop by for a cup of coffee and a visit!
What's so special about Patrick?
Good question! I truly put my clients' interests first! As someone that makes my living selling real estate, I'm not an agent who "dabbles" in selling and does it when it's convenient. I go to work and try to make sure that my clients' transactions are moving forward to Closing as they should. If there's a bump or a glitch that needs to be addressed, I get on it ASAP. Buying or selling Real Estate is very stressful with many details to be addressed, my job is to make the transaction stress-free for my client.
Early in my Real Estate career, I realized the importance of education, so I earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) designations so that I could more effectively represent my clients. To be granted the ABR designation, it is necessary to complete the course work required by REBAC (Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council) and represent the required number of home buyers in a certain time frame. I want to provide my buyers with expertise so that they will make a purchase that they will enjoy for many years to come.
To earn the ASP designation the student must complete the course work established by Staged Homes and then Stage a home under the supervision of an experienced Staging Professional. With this designation I am able to help my sellers ready their home for sale, so that they may see the greatest return on their investment.
Fan Mail
Patrick Martin did a wonderful job guiding me through a difficult real estate transaction. He provided encouragement when I got discouraged; he continually stated: "This deal will close." And he was right.
I enthusiastically recommend him as a Realtor.

Patrick is exceptional! After initially marketing my property in the fall, he advised me to take a break from the market for the holidays. With the spring market, we renewed our efforts and three weeks later, my condo was SOLD! With his knowledge, expertise, and counsel, I can say: "Patrick is truly an exceptional REALTOR!"
