Welcome! 

My name is Lisa Lawrie.  I'm originally from Auburn, California, but I  fell in love with Chico 15 years ago while attending college.  This small friendly town  stole my heart the first weekend I was here and I've never thought twice about moving back to my home town.  I love helping people and majored in Social Work but ended up getting a B.S.  in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Community.    I worked for the county schools for over 10 years coordinating various youth programs and loved every minute of it. 

I accidently fell into Real Estate when my husband and I were trying to buy a home.  I wanted to be more knowledgeable about purchasing a home, so I registered for a basic real estate course.  After the course, I went on my search to find the perfect home (that we could afford).    Every time we were told about a home, it was already sold.  I began my search every morning at 6:30AM (coffee in hand) driving around Chico before work to find us a home.  Within two weeks, I found a home,wrote the purchase agreement and didn't have an agent involved.  The transaction went extremely smooth and my husband and I became friends with the sellers.  My friends began asking me for advise and help with purchasing their homes.  It didn't take me long to realize, I could be getting paid to help people.

I love helping people.  When I can help someone find a home that fits their budget and their needs, it makes me very happy.  I've been a realtor and loan officer for a little over 3 years and  I'm currently the branch manager of our Chico office.
