About Me:

My interests in real estate has always gone back to farm and ranch land.  As a fifth generation Texan my roots go deep!  And they are steeped in South Texas History!  I grew up on a family farm in South Texas where we farmed and raised cattle. I have always had an interest in native habitat and wildlife.  I have been in the real estate business for 25 years.  I have sold property in South Texas, Bryan-College Station and Waller County. I have helped negotiate oil and gas leases, cattle grazing leases, Uranium Leases, and done a good amount of residential property management even dabbled in some commerical, but the Land always calls.I am still active in the management of cattle ranching operations, Oil & gas lease properties, and recently a uranium lease property.  I graduated from Texas A & M University in 1974 with a degree in Animal Science. I have raised commercial brangus cattle, operated a commercial haybaling operation and commercial hog operation, selling feeder pigs. The farm and ranch background I have is a plus to the individual looking for a rural property.  I learned the residential and multifamily sales and leasing business in the strong highly competative College Station-Bryan market.  Selling single family homes, duplexes, condo's and townhomes.  Both new homes and pre-owned homes.

Areas of Expertise

 I spend most of my time working as a "Buyers Agent" matching up a buyer with that special property they are looking for. I have over the years developed contacts throughout Texas which is a great asset in working as a "Buyers Agent". I also conduct "First Time Home Buyers Seminars" helping not only young families starting out but also other people that are tired of paying rent and not receiving any benefit from it helping them put down roots.  My life in on the land gives me a great wealth of knowledge about not only the surface capabalities and uses but also what's underneath the surface.  The mineral estate, and how to negotiate ownership of that estate whether it be a portion or all of it.  Minerals used to mean oil & gas, but today you've got to think about coal, lignite, uranium and fissionable materials and the ever precious commodity of water. Price support payments, soil classes, wetlands, native and introduced grass varities, livestock carrying capacities, crop yeilds, acreage allotments all fiigure into a the formula for selecting a property and it's price.
