- Description
- FHA 203(K) Consultant/Inspector & Designer. Serving all of Metro Atlanta and many rural areas across Georgia.
About Us:
Gravity Architects and Consultation have an extensive 10 year work experience in the field of design and FHA 203(k) Consulting. This comprehensive knowledge of remodeling older homes, and the unique problems that accompany them, gives Borrowers a window into exactly what they are about to buy and the remedies that are required to bring things up to code. Having experience as both contractor and designer, Gravity can help find the problems, give solutions, guide the Contractor, and get the project to the final punch-list every time. All 203(k) packages are submitted on FHA/HUD approved software, in PDF format, which makes submittals seamless - and keeps things paperless. Helping you make smart decisions about repairs and improvements to real property is critical, which is why good advice from the beginning is key.
Curious about how to remodel with FHA and keep it green? This program supports alternative methods and materials completely, and can be built in from the very beginning of your project.
Area of Expertise:
In the spirit of "Finish work starts at the foundation", Chris Colvin and Gravity have a comprehensive knowledge of both structural and building systems necessary to offer relevant information to the Borrower, in language that everyone can make sense of. This holds especially true for remodeling, which is the heart and soul of the 203(k) program.
If major remodeling or an addition is planned, you need an advocate that has had hands-on experience with older homes - and if design services are needed, our first meeting is always free. I have experience with both 203(K) Consulting and the preparation of the permit drawings required to get the project into the hands of your contractor, and the dust flying.
If problems happen to occur with the Contractor- such as non-code compliance, breach of contract or non-performance- I have experience with neutral contract mediation and can get the project back on track.
