Get to know Chris and Bernie
Chris and Bernie Shoemaker have been actively immersed in the local real estate community since the 70's. That seems like a REALLY LONG TIME time but because we both love the business the years have flown by. We live in Waterford, a community that we both really enjoy and know intimately. We live just down the street from the local Starbucks, Panera Cafe and the new Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar! Those locations are just satellite offices for us! While our passion is real estate we like to do other things too. Chris likes to travel and hike and make jewelry and Bernie loves to hunt and fish which he hasn't been able to do too much lately. Our office is actually located in Livonia but we work out of our home and do most of our business up at Starbucks! We both VOLUNTEER AT THE WATERFORD SENIOR CENTER. We've been delivering MEALS OF WHEELS now for about 15 years. It's a fun and rewarding way for us to give back to the community that we live in.
In 2009 we're hoping to help members of our community who are in jeopardy of losing their homes. We know that there are many ways to help owners keep their homes, sell short or avoid foreclosure. We're reaching out to as many people as we can to try and help.
What We Do Best!
We work primarily in Oakland County. We list and sell both residential and commercial real estate. We have a wonderful marketing program for our listings and will try just about anything once if we think it will help sell a property!! We both have lots of experience in selling new homes and condominiums.
