About Chuck Cornwell

Chuck was first licensed in 1985.  He met his wife, Helen, a year later and they were married in October 1988, just in time for a major market correction.  Through perseverance, training and hard work, they survived and thrived.  In 1992, having outgrown their current real estate company, and having no other choices for a more supportive organization that would allow for continued growth, they embarked on opening RE/MAX Regency.  The company is now a multi-office operation supporting nearly 100 "Eagles", and it is continuing to flourish.  Chuck and Helen offer support not only to their Eagles, but also open their doors to everyone in the local real estate industry to learn from their training and networking opportunities.

Soar Like an Eagle

"Hold fast to dreams for if dreams die, Life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly." - Langston Hughes

At a RE/MAX International Convention many years ago, Dave Liniger introduced "Ride the High Places". What a great motivational video!  From that moment on, Helen and I referred to our RE/MAX Regency Associates as "Eagles".  An invitation to join our company is not offered to everyone.  You must possess the vision of the Eagle, and the willingness to pursue your dreams, goals, passions and most importantly, always do so with honor and integrity.

Motivating and inspiring our Eagles to soar is our obligation and challenge in the leadership role.  To become an Eagle in our organization requires proper training, guidance, endurance, support and tools to reach high places.  As this inspiring video portrayed, not even the Eagle is born with the vision of an Eagle; the Eagle realizes greatness one day at a time.

The Eagle teaches us that the first step in soaring is to focus attention on the goal.  The Eagle soars "Above the Crowd" because it has the vision to spot targets from long distances and seeks it where other birds never think to look.  The Eagle gradually develops the skill to utilize its many powers.  It strengthens muscles other birds don't have.  But it is not enough to have the body of an Eagle, to be one.  Eagles learn to use all their attributes nature has provided.  Its parents teach the young Eagle to spread its wings to soar high, to seek opportunities and position its body to grasp its target with silent, swift, and extreme resolve.  Desire and passion go a long way in helping an Eagle develop but training and support is key to realizing ultimate success.

In our organization we focus on the tools and training that our Eagles require.  Each Eagle is unique, requiring different tools and specialized training.  We have tremendous resources available from RE/MAX International and our Regional Office; and we utilize as many as possible.  But, the real estate business is a LOCAL business and Broker/Owners must add to what RE/MAX International offers.  As our economic cycles progress, and our industry matures, the tools to reach the heights of success change.  As it does, we must seek out new and innovative tools to grow.  We must spread our wings to soar like an Eagle!
