As out of state house hunters, it was extremely important for us to find an agent that could not only show us properties in our chosen neighborhoods, but also guide us through any and all unique regulations for purchasing a home in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, as well as providing expert advice on what to look for and watch out for as we visited a multitude of properties.
We could not have been happier with Chuck Stark! He quickly learned what types of homes we were looking for and helped us identify locations and properties that fit our desires. In many cases, he even previewed the properties himself prior to our arrival on the weekends we flew in from Pennsylvania to ensure we wouldn't be wasting our time during the short time we had to look at properties. Chuck also pointed out problems and potential issues with each of the homes we viewed with a level of expertise I would normally only expect from a certified home inspector. His advice was spot on. He also provided invaluable assistance during Offer negotiations and with all of the follow-on steps that had to be accomplished once our Offer had been accepted. He closely managed every detail and the myriad of tasks that had to be completed before closing, providing us almost daily updates. Due to Chuck’s hard work and expertise, we were able to close in a remarkable 47 days!
Bottom line: Chuck was incredibly responsive, extremely knowledgeable and exceeded all of our expectations. His attention to detail, expert advice and counsel made for a very smooth and rewarding home buying experience. We would highly recommend Chuck without hesitation!
