About Us:

Realtor Clint Freeman has a touch for working with people. His signature phrase "On time and on top of it" is lived out daily in his work at Coldwell Banker Best Realty. "Satisfying someone with the service I provide as a Realtor is my favorite part of the job," says Clint.  As Clint seeks to fulfill the needs of sellers and buyers, it is his determination to be proactive with any issues that may arise.

"Buying or selling a home is an emotionally charged process.  It is one of the most important decisions people make, and there is a lot of stress that goes along with it. No doubt, what some people perceive as the easy highway can turn into a corner of many surprises and unknowns.  85% of the work of a Realtor is coordinating win/win solutions with various parties so an escrow can successfully close.  Interestingly, people generally do not perceive Realtors as conflict resolution managers," explains Freeman as he takes a moment out between contacting yet another client.

Along with residential resale homes, "which I love to work with," Clint has become increasingly involved with new home development in the area.  His latest project is with developer Craig Byrne from San Diego who is in the process of building 300-450 new homes in the College Heights area.

One of Clint's deep interests is music and "I often utilized musical themes to market my listings and myself," he adds.  Last year he formed the Clint "Flams" Freeman Ensemble where he provides the heartbeat for the group as the drummer.  Their smooth jazz sound can be occasionally heard around town for seasonal events, and when Clint hosts a "Thank You" celebration for those who have selected to work with him.

Clint lived in Tokyo, Japan for 17 years and assisted in producing some of the greatest living legends of contemporary jazz and popular music for stage, television, and radio.  "The techniques used to successfully promote top recording artists and concert events are interestingly some of the same ones that sell houses.  Allow me to make your house stand out and sell like a star!  If you are a buyer you'll be treated like one."

While in Japan, Clint also taught English and earned two bachelor degrees: one in Human Behavior from Newport University Tokyo, and another from Nichibei Japanese Language School.  Freeman also holds a Master of Ministry degree from Simpson University in Redding, California, and has ministered in Japan and Iowa.

Freeman grew up in Ridgecrest, played with the Burroughs Jazz Band in 1973-74, and then graduated from BHS in 1974.  He returned to Ridgecrest in 2003 with his wife Keiko, and his two children, Miles, 19, and Alicia, 16.

Nobody wants to hear that their home needs work before its put on the market.
