Whether you are buying or selling or both, I can recommend Christopher Leo King to you unreservedly, and I do.
I write this from home, the perfect-for-me house where I get to live, actually, instead of camp out in another temporary lodging. This is largely thanks to the happy accident that Chris had "desk duty" at the moment I chanced to call a real-estate office based entirely on where, according to the phone book, it was located. He answered the telephone and I stammered something about a stupid question and some anxiety about whether I had already gotten myself into a fix, and that was the beginning. And since we are friends now, there won't be an end.
I can't work with Chris again because he did his job too well. But if I were ever to move anywhere in Sussex or Morris county, I would call him and nobody else. If there is a street or a brick in these parts that he does not know and cannot tell you the history of, it is a fluke. He is a walking, singing, raconteuring, automobile-wielding encyclopedia. He also knows his business, truly enjoys it, and does his homework. His almost-quaint manners are an abiding pleasure to be on the receiving end of, and his work ethic and personal ethics are serious unto scary.
My one criticism of him is his nickname. Pardon me, but he is no "Chip." He is a great genial bear of a professional man, and a dear one, in a line of work not known for bringing out the best in people. The commission he got in our transaction is not one-tenth of what he earned.
Emily Nelson, Jefferson
