About Us:
My name is Chris Montz of Jefferson Title. I entered into the mortgage business in 2002 and worked for a mortgage broker for 3 years. To diversify and expand the available products and services I could offer my clientelle, I began my own brokerage in 2005 and opened a branch of Benchmark Mortgage. I am well versed in many different types of loans ranging from residential to commercial. In the spring of 2007 I earned a designation of a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS). To obtain this distinguished designation required countless hours of study in areas of economics, tax, financial planning, and advanced mortgage strategies. In my practice, I teach the consumer how to strategically use certain mortgage products to operate as an investment, rather than simply a debt obligation. As a CMPS Mortgage planner I strive to place each client into the best loan that can help him maximize his tax benefits while satisfying his mortgage needs. My goal as a mortgage planner has always been to create a client for life. I strive to educate and inform my clients in order to assist them to make well reasoned and informed decisions regarding their mortgage. This means maintaining communications beyond the closing date. My clients should never look anywhwere else for their changing mortgage needs. I have recently closed down my office of Benchmark Mortgage and taken on a new career in the title industry. Being well versed in the real estate arena I decided to expand my experience to Jefferson Title. I am very excited to take on this new career in my life and think I have alot to offer to fellow mortgage consutants as well as realtors. I hope to expand my client relations as a title rep like I did as a mortgage broker.
Areas of Expertise
After being in the mortgage business for 8 years i have become very well versed on all needs of a mortgage company and a realtor when it comes to title work. I know the service expected and wanted to be provided to people in the mortgage and real estate parkets by a title rep. Service is everything and communication is a must.
