About Gerard:
My philosophy is to educate and guide my clients by presenting them with facts to make an informed decision for their real estate investment. It's all about finding the right property for the right investor at the right time. I truly believe that my job isn't done with the sale of a property. I consider myself a full service professional real estate investment agent because I offer my clients much more than the average agent. I recommend to my clients to utilize my business partners expertise in their professional fields.
I assist my investors before and after the successful purchase of their investment property by planning ahead; getting repair bids prior to closing, professional services such as CPA's / accountants / SD IRA Custodian, scheduling the contractor to be at the property the same day of closing, discount title and escrow services, investment insurance professional, screening & selecting renters, property management services and the list goes on. I am very familiar with the loan process; I was a successful mortgage broker and direct lender for 8 years in the San Diego, California area. I do have a few lenders that work with investors I can recommend, but I can also know most loan programs and guidelines for investors when they have questions.
I was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marines in 1997. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California and completed an overseas tour in Okinawa, Japan. I still have friends in the military and I'm an avid supporter! My hobbies are real estate investing, sports cars, high performance boats and guns. I have a lovely wife, Marylou who is a professional real estate agent.
