- Founded in 1944, the Columbia Board of REALTORS® (CBOR) is the voice of over 600 real estate professionals in Boone County, Missouri.
Our Mission:
It is the mission of the Columbia Board of REALTORS® to be the leading advocate of the real estate industry in our communities, to provide members with education and resources that will enable them to conduct business successfully, to promote and enforce ethical standards, to strengthen the REALTOR® image, and to encourage real property ownership.

Add A New Listing Course (September 4, 2008)
This course will teach CBOR members how to enter new listings into the FLEX MLS system. ALL MEMBERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND ONE OF THESE COURSES.

Home From WorkTM (October 8, 2008)
Home From WorkTM trains REALTORS® to promote workforce housing initiatives at the grassroots level. The program pffers information and tools REALTORS® can take to public and private-sector employers to help them establish an employer-assisted housing (EAH) benefit program. Home From WorkTM is a three hour training class given to REALTORS® that trains them how to: explain the benefits of EAH programs, identify steps to participate in an EAH, reach out to employers and help them develop an EAH plan, conduct home-buying workshops at the employer's place of business, and identify flexible financing that can increase affodibility. Both REALTORS® and the community benefit from this program. More homes are sold which helps REALTORS®, but this also means that more people are able to begin the best investment of their life.
