Richard Swerdlow, CEO, founded Condo.com in 2005 and is responsible for the Company's strategic direction, marketing and operations. The idea for a global marketplace for condominiums came to him in mid-2005 while driving to a development site his company acquired for a high-end condo project. At the time, the lifestyle magazines and billboards along the major highways had become filled with ads for pre-construction condos. It occurred to him that, although the projects were selling out as frenzied investors from all over the world plunked down deposits with the hopes of "flipping" the units for a profit before having to close, this activity would eventually end and there would be a global over-supply of condos on the market. With the intention to help builders and developers, brokers, individual owners and financial institutions sell their inventory when the market turned down, he developed Condo.com into a global online marketplace to create liquidity for all participants.
Mr. Swerdlow began his career practicing law in the Public Finance Department of Greenberg Traurig, Miami, Florida where he helped structure bond financings for a variety of municipal clients as bond counsel and underwriter's counsel. His passion to help commercialize space infrastructure, including launch facilities at Cape Canaveral, ultimately resulted in the issuance of bonds by the Florida Spaceport Authority.
He is a member of the New York and Florida Bar Associations and a licensed Real Estate Broker.

Case Study: After many unsuccessful traditional marketing attempts to sell the remaining 27 units of a condo conversion in Orlando, FL, Developer Todd Palmer used common sense and electronic media to sell 27 Units in under 60 days successfully.
The Formula: We created a huge co-brokerage incentive and a strong buyer credit at closing amidst a slow moving market. We offered a 10% co-brokerage commission and 6% buyer credit at closing - which they could use on anything they wanted. We selected areas across the US including the local market to email this offer.
