Connie is the Co-Owner of Door County Realty, Inc. She has received both her Bachelor and Master of Science in education from the University of Kansas. She has earned the GRI (Graduate of REALTORS Institute), the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), the RRS (Resort Real Estate Specialist), and the SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist).
Connie has won just about every real estate award imaginable. She was selected by Howard Brinton as one of his interviewed STAR POWER Stars of 1998. She is an annual Howard Brinton Conference Instructor. She is a member of the Wisconsin REALTORS Honor Society, 1985 through 2000. She has won the Sales Associate of the Year Award twice, Door County REALTOR of the year in 1987, Rookie of the Year Award in 1985. She won Teacher of the Year in 1983 & 1984. She was also featured in REALTORS Magazine's "Top 300 Residential Sales people in 2001".
Connie has been elected as Chairperson to the Education Committee of the Door County Board of REALTORS, Member of the Door County Board of REALTORS, Instructor of the Graduate REALTOR Institute, and instructor of the Wisconsin REALTORS Northern Convention.
Connie along with her husband, Bob are passionate about the Door County community and have given back in many ways. The Door Community Auditorium, Birch Creek Farms, American Folklore Theatre, and Peninsula Players are all recipients of their generosity.
The organization nearest and dearest to Connie and Bob's heart is Help of Door County, for abused and battered spouses and their family. The Ericksons have assisted moving HELP three times since its inception in 1979. Two of the moves included real estate transactions thought which the Ericksons donated their real estate services and commission back to HELP after each transaction. In addition, Connie and Bob make a financial contribution on behalf of the Buyer and Seller after each real estate transaction closing. Help has created an endowment fund which continues to grow on Help's behalf, from the contribution of the sale of properties donated by the Ericksons.
