Connie Goodrich, CRS has been in the real estate industry since 1980.  With an expertise in valuation, Connie is a certified appraiser in the state of Texas and has a background of residential valuation.  Having opened Goodrich & Associates, Real Estate Appraisers and Consultants in 1984, Connie built a company which serviced numerous financial institutions, relocation companies and entities who needed an expert to testify in legal actions.  She also has a background in property tax consulting.  The leadership of the appraisal company was turned over to her husband, Jim Goodrich MAI  SRA in 1996 which marks the time period Connie returned to full time real estate sales.  The expertise in valuation has been invaluable to sellers and buyers as they make important pricing decisions.  The tax consulting background has been instrumental in assisting Connie's clients when protesting their taxes even years after their home purchase.

Connie has earned the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation which is one of the most revered designations for real estate professionals.  She has earned numerous awards through her office and International Keller Williams Realty Double Gold Medal achievement for top volume production, one of the top individual real estate agents in her office and area.  She also has received the Outstanding Realtor of the Year for Service award from the Collin County Association of Realtors. "D" Magazine recognized Connie as one of the area top professionals.

Known for her instructor and speaking ability, Connie has been a featured speaker for area MLS meetings & varied real estate industries.  She has served for numerous years on the Appraisal Institute board of Directors & the Collin County Association of Realtors.  Connie also has served on the Texas Association of Realtors Ethics Panel.

Connie was chosen as the Team Leader of the Keller Williams Realty McKinney office and help build the office from a membership of 38 associates to 105 before resigning to return to real estate sales production.  During that time she helped design, supervised construction and built out two office spaces for McKinney and the Allen Market Centers.  During that time she also managed and opened the Keller Williams Realty Allen Market Center and built it to an agent count of 32 before the center was turned over to its own designated Team Leader.  Under Connie's leadership, the McKinney center was awarded several volume sales honors, profit sharing honors and Connie received the "Home Run Market Center Award" through Keller Williams for her offices performance in all monitored categories for excellence.

We recently had an occasion to use Connie to sell our home in McKinney. We loved our home, but had decided that it was time to downsize. Our greatest fear was that we would not find another home that we liked as well. Prior to putting our house on the market, Connie bought us approximately 50 listings to review. She wanted us to have many opportunities to see what was available in our price range before making our decision. Once the decision to sell had been made, Connie spent a great deal of time with us going over all of the pluses and the minuses of our home. She wanted to make certain we were comfortable with the listing price.  We listed our home on a Tuesday and on Sunday; we had a contract to sell. In the interim, Connie had helped us find the perfect home for our requirements.    Because the purchasers wanted possession in two weeks, we were under a considerable amount of stress to get everything lined up so that we could meet their time frame.  By 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning, she already had the inspection lined up on the home we were purchasing, and the closings set on both homes. The sellers were reluctant to agree to the two-week time frame. Connie worked with their agent to encourage them to make the transaction work.    What could have been an extremely stressful and trying situation was made less so because Connie was there every step of the way and was always available to answer all of our questions. We cannot say enough good words about the outstanding level of service she provided. We have recommended Connie to family and friends and will continue to do so.
