 I am a full service Realtor in Toledo, Ohio and the surrounding suburbs of Maumee, Perrysburg, Holland, Swanton, Whitehouse, Waterville, Sylvania, Rossford, Northwood and Oregon, Ohio.  Knowledgeable in all areas of the residential real estate market including short sale properties both buying and listing. Short sales can be a tedious and stressful situation for all parties involved. It has been said of me, that I have excellent negotiating skills and lots of patience. My area of expertise is working with first time home buyers and investors. I get great satisfaction from providing easy to understand information about the home purchasing process from explaining forms, recommending reputable lenders, inspectors, contractors, appraisers, etc. and paying attention to detail that you may sometimes miss. I found myself in what seemed to be an impossible situation...my job was transferring me to Kansas and I had to sell my Toledo townhome in an unfortunate market. It not only wasn't going to bring what I owed on it...buyers couldn't even get a loan for a townhome. I initally chose Connie Johns because she had experience in Short Sales; and, although I didn't want to go that route - I really didn't know what else to do. Connie proved to stand by my for the duration. She was honest, straight-forward, and would always tell me the truth...even if it wasn't the best scenario. She truly wanted what was best for me and fought to provide that. Connie and I had open communication; and, with me being several states away, that can sometimes be a difficult thing. Sue and I actually just 'stumbled upon' Connie as we were searching for a home to rent. We looked at a listing she had for sale, contacted her and asked if she would be willing to contact the seller RE: possible lease agreement. In these difficult economic times, we didn't want to try to sell our home in Tecumseh MI, and were looking to rent for a relatively short period of several years. Connie agreed, and with the sellers approval, brokered a wonderful deal that was a 'win-win' for both the seller and us.

Unfortunately for Connie, there was no commission involved in a lease agreement. But she really went out for us anyway, and was incredibly helpful. As she pointed out, "When the time comes and the home is on the market again, the seller will turn to me to sell the property for him, and I'll earn my commission then."

My initial hope was that she would simply contact the seller with my inquiry. She far exceeded that expectation by representing his best interests while at the same time making sure that my wife and I were treated fairly and honestly.

Connie has followed up on several ocassions, resolving property issues (repairs) that needed attention. When I have asked her, she has offered constructive advice on how we might make some improvements to the property that would make the home more comfortable for us while also enhancing the value of the home for the owner.

Connie would be my absolute 'first pick' in recommending a realtor. She knows her business, knows people, knows the market, and, through it all, has made this a most pleasant experience. I've owned several homes, in California and Michigan, and Connie is by far the best agent I've ever worked with! My highest praise!

Connie Johns recently helped me purchase my new home.  I began the home buying process very nervous and skeptical.  I had heard many horror stories from my friends and family members about how they felt their realtor had "pushed" them into purchasing too quickly or they felt their realtor had somehow misled them.
