The reason to live in Tennessee
As an Individual who grew up liking to travel, and living the last 10 years here in the Upper Cumberland area I can say that it is one fine place to call home. Right here we are only an hour from many fine lakes and state parks with camping, fishing, and boating facilities or, if shopping is your game we are only a hour from Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga which have many fine places to shop. The Weather in the Upper Cumberland area is close to perfect. One of the best features is the fact that we have four distinct seasons with the longest and best being spring and fall. Our summer’s are moderate due to the elevation of 800 to 2,000 feet and winter is mild with just a few light snows to keep us honest! The best part is that we are only a days drive to 70% of the U.S. population. Low Taxes are another reason to love the Upper Cumberland area. Tennessee does not have an income tax on earned income and the property taxes are unbelievably low. The property taxes trough out the state are relatively low, and residential property is assessed at 25% of actual value. I Invite You to call me for more information about the Real Estate opportunities available on the Cumberland Plateau including Putnam, Cumberland, Fentress, and White Counties. I can help you with primary residences, vacation homes and condominiums, acreage and farms and of course commercial real estate.
