I grew up in Sammamish, WA where I graduated from Redmond High School. I moved to Ellensburg in 1997 where I attended CWU and graduated with a degree in public relations. I have worked in the corporate world at Microsoft and have experienced adventures such as moving to Maui in 2002.  I couldn't resist Washington's mountains, lakes, and fishing opportunities and found myself back home rather shortly!  I am an avid fly fisherman and enjoy salmon fishing at Sekiu or Neah Bay every year. Living in Kittitas County allows me year round access to recreation, all within an hour from Seattle. It doesn't get any better than this!

As the daughter of a retired Seattle Firefighter, I have grown up appreciating our fire and ems service providers. I recently been appointed to serve as a volunteer Public Information Officer for Kittitas County Fire & Rescue.
