About Us:
Let us take a moment to introduce ourselves and thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with you on the sale or purchase of your home! We are both native of this area. Curt was born and raised in Rockville, Minn and Pam in Cold Spring, Minn. We currently reside in Cold Spring, Minn with our two children. Both of us have lived in numerous places in Minnesota , but knew that we wanted to return to this area when our children were ready to attend school. We feel this area has so much to offer and wanted to give our children all of the opportunities we grew up with.

In 1990, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from St. Cloud State University, which led to a 16 year career in Sales and Marketing. In the spring of 2003, I decided to take my sales career in a new direction...Real Estate! I have been a Realtor with Edina Realty since the spring of 2003. My Sales and Marketing experience coupled with my knowledge of homes and new construction helped to make me an excellent fit for this new venture - I'm ecstatic about my decision and I haven't looked back!!
Performance Awards: In 2004 I earned Edina's Leadership Circle Award for outstanding sales performance and customer service. Then in 2005, our team of professionals increased our sales performance significantly and achieved Edina's President's Circle Award. In 2006 and 2007, we increased sales dramatically to achieve the Master's Circle Award. Over $30 million in real estate transactions closed to date!
Continuing Education: In 2004 I achieved the Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of Realtors. In November 2005, I obtained my brokers license in an effort to advance my real estate knowledge and career. In 2008, I earned the New Home Sales Specialist accreditation. I believe in continuing my education so that I can provide you with up to date information and professional service.

In 2005 I embarked on a new career when Curt and I decided it was time for me to join him in real estate, so that we could continue to grow his business. My technical, analytical and outstanding customer service background will help us to help you with all of your real estate needs.
A little about my past experience - I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Information Systems (BCIS) from St. Cloud State University in 1992. For over 12 years I worked as a project manager, business analyst, Web developer and in many other facets of Information Services. In the ever changing world of technology, I am proud to say that I have always worked towards providing my clients with outstanding customer service, excellent communication and determining and delivering what my clients want and need.
In 2006, I took on the challenge of becoming the Technology Chair for the St. Cloud Association of Realtors® (SCAAR). My main objective was to redesign the SCAAR Web site, which fit very nicely with my Web knowledge and background. This was an extremely rewarding experience and I'm extremely happy with the outcome of the new site - www.stcloudrealtors.com.
I've enjoyed the past couple of years working in real estate - It has been a rewarding decision and I look forward to the future of working with Curt and with you.

I have received your questionnaire about our agent Curt Karls and I feel that there is much to be said about him that is not asked for on the form. Dustin and I have nothing but praise and good words for Curt. We know that he went far beyond his call of duty as an agent and we appreciate him greatly. I think you should know exactly what he went through for us and how he represented your company with nothing but excellence.
Curt was referred to us by an inquiry on the Edina website and was very prompt to get in contact with us, he had arranged a showing for us the next morning. Throughout this whole process Curt was very timely and eager to please, he set meetings around our schedule, met us at our apartment for papers so we wouldn't have to keep going across town and was very thorough with everything that needed to be went over and signed. He always kept us informed of what was going on and never once complained about our frequent calls to him about changes.
The day that impressed us the most was the day that we were supposed to close on our house and didn't. Curt met with us the morning before close to go through the house one more time, after leaving the house we found out that our closing time was changed from 1 pm to 3 pm because the bank was not ready. We got a call at 3 pm saying that the paper work would take 15 minutes to fax and then we would be ready to sign. Curt sat with us at the title company for 2 hours waiting for the paper work to be faxed, he was very polite and personable the whole time. After about an hour of patiently waiting her called the banker to see what was holding us up and he was very polite to her too. He never lost his professionalism once, not even when our banker hung up on him. Around 5 pm we found out that we were not going to close that day and would have to wait over the weekend until Monday. Since we did not have a place to live until Monday we were very frantic and upset, Curt stayed to talk to us even though he was now late to pick his children up from daycare. He even offered to pay for a hotel for us until we could close on the house when none of this was his fault!
Dustin and I feel that you have an excellent employee and that he should be commended for his outstanding customer service. We will without a doubt recommend Curt Karls to anyone who says they are looking for a real estate agent. We never felt like we were only a means to money, Curt always acted like a friend who was working on our side to get what was best for us. We are very grateful that we could work with an agent like Curt; we appreciate him and your company greatly and we love our new house!"
