About Dale Robyn Siegel
Dale Robyn Siegel is a graduate of University of Hartford (1982 with a BS in Business and 1983 with an MBA in Finance). Dale went on to Pace University School of Law and graduated with a JD in 1986. After law school, Dale worked for a New York Law firm representing banks, buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. In 1989 she left the practice of law to become a full time real estate developer. Until 1997 Dale owned a real estate company in upstate New York buying small tracts of land for development and building single family houses. In 1997, Dale parted ways with construction and concentrated on real estate finance full time. In 1998 she opened Circle Mortgage Group in White Plains, New York. She is currently is the President of this boutique mortgage company which obtains financing for both residential and small commercial properties.
Dale teaches real estate and finance courses at Baruch College and the Learning Annex in New York City. She also writes a blog called Diaries of A Mad Mortgage Broker and is frequently quoted as an financial expert in national publications. Siegel does seminars nationally for the private and public sector. She did a home-buying series for the WNBA and travelled to each home team in the summer of 2007.
Siegel's personal guidelines of not living beyond your means has earned her praise from clients and students nationally. Over the past ten years as real estate skyrocketed, she preached the merits of a healthy financial picture, the importance of savings and good credit.
Always a contrarian thinker in the mortgage industry, she loudly predicted the collapse of the mortgage industry and the real estate bubble. She now writes avidly about the changes in the mortgage guidelines and the affects on consumer home financing. She keeps her audience current on the industry changes by blogging [almost] daily.

Both the real estate and mortgage industries have completely collapsed and changed due to recent economic turmoil. Many homeowners made life altering mistakes in the past four years basing decisions on incorrect or false advice or by simply getting caught up by all the hype. Many Americans are now suffering today because of mistakes made by themselves as well as the population at large.
To help today's homeowners and homebuyers obtain the best real estate financing under the new rules I have put together a free eBook about the mortgage process that is also translated into Spanish. Please feel free to pass it along!
