About Us:

Providence Home Mortgage is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Inner City Christian Federation in Grand Rapids MI.  ICCF is a not for profit housing developer and HUD-approved counseling agency.  ICCF offers many services including home inspections, homebuyer education classes, financial management courses, rental, housing vouchers and foreclosure prevention.  Profits from closed loans with Providence go back to further the work of ICCF.  Providence is located in the ICCF offices at 920 Cherry.

Areas of Expertise

At Providence we are able to help those in need of purchasing or refinancing.  Although we are able to serve all types of borrowers, most of our client base consists of first-time home buyers.  MSHDA (Michigan State Housing Development Authority) loans were the bulk of our purchase business until recently when their rates went up.  We will always follow rates to see which product works best for clients. FHA is currently the bulk of our business with low down options, ability to finance repairs, and more lenient credit guidelines.
