I'm Dan Hartman, and I have worked as a residential mortgage advisor since February of 2000. In my time in the business, I don't think a day has passed that I didn't learn something new.  From working as an inside loan officer at Champion Mortgage, to being part of the founding team here at Province, there's always something new going on. 

Province is a team of 14 full-time mortgage advisors focused solely on delivering what is in our clients' best interests.  We believe that by doing right by a family today, we can create a relationship for life, and, hopefully, and ambassador who will share the experience with others.  It is our team of professionals that helps us to create this experience.

When I'm not helping homebuyers get the best possible deals, I might be doing one of a few things:

I'm considered an expert on mortgage rates as I spend a minimum of one hour daily researching the best rates available for your mortgage, along with the economic conditions that will affect them.  My colleagues turn to me for information on when is the best time to lock your mortgage rate, and when you should be able to save money by floating down to a lower interest rate.  I receive the Wall Street Journal daily to stay up to date on the latest economic trends.

I first had the pleasure of meeting Dan in July 2004 as he was working on paperwork with my father and stepmother.  Soon after I met with Dan to discuss my own financial information.  At that time I was not in a position to buy my first home.  Dan was kind enough to offer suggestions that I used to prepare myself to get a mortgage.  Dan periodically checked my progress and offered words of encouragement.
