Realtor. I began in Mortgage in 1998 as a lender. In 2001 I came to work for Northstone where I was encouraged to obtain my Real Estate License. I focus on Real Estate excusivley now.

As a Realtor

I have been a licensed agent since 2001. Several years in the energy business designing systems and selling products to help save money, improve the performance and add convenience to homes, have laid a good foundation for Real Estate. This background has been invaluable to my clients, both sellers and buyers. Prelisting inspections and buyers' pre-inspections have saved my clients time and money as we move toward decision making.

My secret weapon in Real Estate is my wife Elsie. We have been married 26 years and have 3 growing boys currently age 19, 14 and 11. Elsie's talents and skill set are a wonderful balance to mine. She has an eye for style and was staging listings before she was licensed or took the classes for her ASP. She has an incredible memory, remembering details of homes she had seen years before. She loves to show homes and truly cares for our clients best outcome.

My other career as a transportation consultant (ok, car salesman) had me negotiating more transactions in a week than the average real estate agent does in a year. Multiply that over nearly 10 years, and I venture to guess I've negotiated more millions of dollars worth of deals than all but very few high end Realtors; and I maintained a very high customer satisfaction rating.

I love this business. Home ownership is the foundation of wealth building in America. I take great satisfaction from seeing a client do well, make good decisions and prosper personally and financially.

As a Former Mortgage Lender

I started in Mortgage in 1998 after several years as a Transportation consultant, yes a car salesman. I worked my way up the ranks to finance director where I negotiated with banks to get better rates and get tough auto loans approved. My first Mortgage job was as a branch manager for a national lender.

By offering mortgage services as an option to my Real Estate clients, easily 90% have chosen to use me for both. I am more accessible than most lenders because I keep Real Estate hours, not banker's hours. Questions regarding rates, programs & options get quick answers. Because mortgage is not my primary source of income, I'm also priced more competitively than most.

As a broker, we shop rates with a number of reliable lenders for the best program for each buyer. Our fees are fully disclosed, and always have been, so you see and understand what you are paying for and what you should expect.

What about the other 10%? Some buyers come to me committed to another lender. I keep that lender honest by providing a competitive Good Faith Estimate. Sometimes buyers are offered deals I can't match; I encourage my clients to take the best deal they can, whether from me or a competitor.
