Description
Dave Miller, Residential real estate Broker helping buyers buy homes and sellers sell homes for 25 years in Dumont, Bergenfield, New Milford and surrounding towns in Bergen County, NJ.

Mr. Lucky

My real estate career really started without a license.... about 25 years ago I worked for a company that ran seminars.  Part of my job was to rent space, hire a speaker, then get real estate agents to attend.  Mike Ferry & Danielle Kennedy are a couple names Realtors may recognize.  Besides listening to the seminars 100 times, often I would be shuffling the speakers to & from the airport & meeting them for dinner.  One time I was stuck in a traffic jam with Mike Ferry for 3 hours!  Needless to say I was the most 'trained' real estate agent there ever was prior to getting a license!

Since 1987 I have been luckier than I deserve.  I have about 60 listings sell a year & a team that sells about 100 homes/year.  We're a small company & every clients success is paramount to us.  We specialize in a small area of Bergen County, NJ.

My claim to fame my be that I'm successful yet able to take time off.  I enjoy traveling with my lovely bride of 17 years & two beautiful daughters.  Also attending seminars on self improvement, time management & real estate.  Of course my terrific staff makes this possible but I am the one who set this whole thing up!

Whether you're a Realtor or just looking for some real estate guidance, It would make my day if I could be of service to you in any way.

Keys to success.....

1.  Talk to lots of people every day.

2.  Think on paper - Keep a Journal!

3.  Specialize - become an expert.

4.  Be real nice, be unique.

Kind words.... thanks!!

Dear Dave,
Despite the fact that real estate is your life's work, for us, selling our house was a personal & emotional matter.  Thank you for never losing sight of our dreams as you guided us through this once - (or twice) in - a - lifetime journey.

We never used the term "integrity" lightly and we work very hard to try  to live a life of integrity everyday.

Thank you for exemplifying & epitomizing integrity throughout the exciting, scary and intoxicating process of selling our dear old 84 Erie Street.

You (& your team) are the best!  Love,  The Campbell's

Thank you and your staff for all your help in getting to this point. Dave: Every thing is great. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.

Dave,
Just wanted to drop you a note to say "Thank You" for helping us sell the house. We made the right decision selecting you to be our real estate agent, and we enjoyed working with you. Also, thanks for the use of the truck. It was very helpful as well.

Regards,
Susan & Bill Zumbo

Hi Dave,

I have been meaning to send you an email since the closing. I apologize for being so negligent. Just want to thank you and all of your staff for the work you did on the sale of my aunt's house. In this market, it was nothing short of a miracle (from my perspective!) that it sold at all. Your patient, calm demeanor helped me get through the process. Your information, like the print out "Now that you have an offer, what comes next" was greatly appreciated and really useful. Your entire staff was professional and always helpful and informative. But the real kudos go to Lucille. She is a gem. I don't how I would have kept a level head without her input.

Anyway, I am glad that we chose you to represent us and would be happy to have you use me as a referral if you need one.

Thanks so much.

Best Regards,

Linda Nagle (on behalf of the entire family)

Hi Dave

Just wanted to drop a hello and to thank you for all your invitations. We took you up on your offer at D'Angelo's and the mum and pumpkin now grace the front light.

I count all my blessings that I followed your advice otherwise I will still be selling my old house...things have just gotten worse, but then again you already know...

I really appreciate all the help you gave me and a very sincere thank you...

Regards to you and Roseann from both Anthony and I

All the best,

Dalma

Hi Dave:
You were wonderful during the whole process of selling my Dumont home. I don't believe another realtor company could have been so terrific throughout the entire process. Mary did a wonderful job as well finding me this great apartment in Bergenfield. The two of you met me in the most stressful time of my life and managed to keep what could be another stressful event UNSTRESSFUL. I will recommend you to everyone I know and although I hope this doesn't happen any time soon, I will look to you guys again if the need arises.
Onto another topic:
About the page in your information packet to the homeseller that lists recommendations for outside help such as movers, sidewalk repair, etc. If you would consider a landscaper with a specialty for tree removal, a long time, very good friend would be grateful for the advertising. Steve Velardi from Mountainside Landscaping. When he heard about my struggles last year, he took care of Dumont as well as taking down and cleaning up the jungle in the back so it would improve the appearance of the house. Let me know if you're interested, and I'd be delighted to give you his number.
Thanks again,
Karen Wilson

Dave,

It was a pleasure working with you and Lucille. For what it's worth, anyone who asked us how long it took to sell I told them 4 days from listing to an offer. With this economy most of their jaws dropped and they asked which realtor and I told them you. One of them is a lady from Prospect Avenue who has also been in town 40+ years.

Thanks again for everything!
Rick
