I have been a Realtor for about 5 years. After working in corporate America for 20+ years I thought it was time to do my own business. I have been very happy with my decision. I have met wonderful people who have become clients and ultimately friends.
I focus my attention on the residential side of real estate. I have a different approach from most Realtors. I do not pressure people to do business with me and I am never pushy. I want to work with people that want to work with me and vice versa. I tell potential new clients that I need to feel comfortable working with them before I will take them on as a client. I'm sure that sounds strange, but it is too important of a process to go through not to have a good feeling about the people involved. Let's face it, not everyone hits it off. I take great pride in communicating with my clients. One of the biggest complaints I hear from people concerning their agent is they don't hear from them. I can promise you that will not be a complaint you will have about me. I also have a very easy way to be held accountable for that....I will tell you....you can fire me at any time. Whether I am selling your home or working with you to buy a home...if you aren't happy with my service, you can fire me.
I stay current with the market and the laws of real estate. I take classes frequently to keep abreast of real estate laws and new technology. I earned by GRI certification by taking three differnt classes (120 hours). I do a lot with the internet, in particular with my listings. I will do some traditional marketing, but am moving away from that more and more. Sellers expect ads in the paper, but statistics show 80 to 85% of people looking for a home go to the internet. Where would you want your home advertised?
Please let me know if I can help you or answer any questions for you.
