Description
Fine Living Expert specializing in downtown Minneapolis and the urban lakes area

About me

As a licensed Realtor® since 1995, my diverse network of contacts gives me the ability to find solutions and help with your transition – fast. Leaky pipes? I've got a plumber for you. Best sushi bar? I just may know the chef.

Working in downtown Minneapolis since the age of 13 has given me a knowledge and love for the city that is unique in the industry. Specializing in downtown, the Minneapolis Lakes Area, Edina, and Western Suburbs, I'm also licensed in Las Vegas. After having joined Lakes Sotheby's International Realty, I can now bring their support and network of 3,000+ agents to you.

In this economy, it has never been more important to make sure your dollars are well spent. Consider me that quality assurance. Being in the real estate industry for more than 20 years, I've seen many properties come and go on the market. But one thing that doesn’t just come and go are people. More than the properties themselves, it’s a passion for both the city and the people whose dreams I help become reality that set me apart.

I feed off the energy of the city, and I want to share that energy with you.

Locations

Buying or selling, large or small, Metro area or not – there isn’t a problem we can't tackle together. Here are my areas of expertise:

Downtown Minneapolis : This central location contains both glamorous pockets and transitional areas. A Bohemian mix of new condominiums, apartment complexes, cultural centers and restaurants, downtown Minneapolis guarantees an active lifestyle. The neighborhoods surrounding downtown have changed over the years into trendy spots that have preserved their turn-of-the-century mansions and brick and brownstone walk-up apartments.

Minneapolis - Calhoun/Uptown : Calhoun Isles is the vibrant home to Uptown, a trendy area with a variety of unique shops and restaurants ranging from authentic Thai to classic American. This urban business setting is softened by nearby houses, apartment buildings and parks. Dog-lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike find this an ideal location as it gives them the freedom to take advantage of the lakes, parks, and trails.

Minneapolis - Kenwood / Isles / Dean / Cedar : Kenwood contains the city's largest concentration of expensive homes and is notable for its large Victorian, Tudor, and Colonial-style homes, many of which face Lake of the Isles. The neighborhood contains many open spaces including these two lakes, trails, parks and playgrounds, including nearly 3 miles of trails around Lake of the Isles. The Cedar-Isles-Dean neighborhood is also one of the most affluent of the city, and is home to a Frank Lloyd Wright design.

Minneapolis - North Loop / Warehouse District : The North Loop neighborhood is bustling day or night and is Minneapolis' oldest 'new' neighborhood. Unique lofts in landmark buildings, innovative cuisine and classic neighborhood pubs, specialty shops owned by local enterprising entrepreneurs, and countless cultural offerings can all be found in this historic community. Home to the avant-garde Interact Theater and the classic Minnesota Opera, the diverse cultural scene gives its residents a plethora of entertainment options - all within walking distance.

Minneapolis - Loring Park : A unique and diverse community, the Loring Park neighborhood combines both young professionals and retired suburban homeowners to create an environment that is both fun and safe place to live. In fact, the crime rate is among the lowest of all Minneapolis neighborhoods. Beautification and restorative projects, such as the Nicollet Avenue Project and Restorative Justice project, keep the community engaged and secure.

Minneapolis - Linden Hills / Southwest / Lake Harriet : Often referred to as 'a small town in the City' Linden Hills represents the ideal in urban living. This is a community that offers interesting boutique shops, unique restaurants and a variety of parks with tennis courts, playgrounds and picnic areas. Extraordinary public parks double with tree-lined boulevards to tie the neighborhood together.

Minneapolis - Northeast / St. Anthony / University District : The historic St. Anthony Main is located in this neighborhood by Minneapolis' Riverfront District, where you can easily spot the Stone Arch Bridge. For over 30 years, residents and tourists have visited this area famous for its cobblestone road, horse-drawn carriage rides, and Pracna - the oldest restaurant on the oldest street in Minneapolis.

Edina: Situated southwest of Minneapolis as a first-ring suburb, Edina has several major highways running through it making it readily accessible to all within the metropolitan area. Perhaps Edina's greatest claim to fame in modern times is the fact that it is the home of the world's first indoor shopping mall, the 'Southdale Center.' Also, the Edina School District is known as being one of, if not the finest, school districts in the state of Minnesota.

Wayzata / Lake Minnetonka : Wayzata offers some of the best waterfront property around Lake Minnetonka and has easy access for water recreation activities. The city has embraced this proximity to the lake and used it to its full potential. The Wayzata Historical Museum, located in the historic Wayzata Depot, can be found near the lakefront. You can also consider riding the Minnehaha Steamboat between Excelsior and Wayzata during the summer months.
