Description
I have been helping buyers and sellers in the Brookings area for 16 years. I recently opened REMAX On The Move with Roshal Lamp.

About me

I grew up in Mitchell , South Dakota.  After high school I attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln my Freshman and Sophomore year of college.  In 1987 I transferred to South Dakota State University and have been in Brookings ever since.  I recieved my BA in psychology in 1990.  I worked for Children's Home Society in Sioux Falls for a couple years but decided I needed to more connected in Brookings.  I then worked for Moriarty Rentals in property management which is what sparked my interest in Real Estate.

I got my real estate license in 1994.  I have my GRI designation and am 1 class away from my CRS designation.  There has been so much change in the industry since then.  When I started in real estate there was one page of agency disclosure, everyone represented the seller, and there was one page to the purchase agreement.  Also when I started, IF you had a cell phone it was a little smaller than a brick and there was 1 computer in the whole building.  The secretary typed our CMA's for us!

There are lots of things that I love about Real Estate.  I enjoy working with First Time Homebeuyers because I of the education you are providing for them.  It is the biggest purchase they have made so far in their lifetime and it is a learning process from the beginning to the end.  When I am working with sellers I most enjoy photographing homes and helping them stage their homes.  And, there isn't a better feeling than getting that call from a past customer that they would like to work with you again.  What a compliment!
