Yes, Blacksburg Virginia population around 29,000 is home to Virginia Tech, & the Hokies...plus it is the place that I adore! When people hear about RE/MAX 8 they often ask, "So why the 8?" When our owner named our company, RE/MAX 8, the concept of using a number as a name was a unique idea!
I love our name because it is so easy to remember and use! The number 8 symbolizes good fortune. There are many other special reasons why we are RE/MAX 8. A graduate of the College of William and Mary in 1983, I started my real estate career while in graduate school in Williamsburg, VA (which is still one of my favorite places to visit)! My undergraduate major was English; American Studies was my graduate school major.

She helped explain the tax advantages of buying versus renting. Diana referred us to an accountant and real estate attorney who helped us shelter our real estate gains using a 1031 Tax Exchange.
