About Us:

Dave Borcherding joined Olympic Northwest Mortgage in June of 1996.  He is qualified by experience, knowledge and training, including 37 years working in financial institution management positions.  For the past 8 years Dave has specialized in programs to provide mortgage financing to Native Americans through the HUD Section 184 Indian Housing Guarantee Program and the USDA Rural Housing Native American Section 502 program.  Dave has developed strong working relationships with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Hud’s Office of Native American Programs as well as numerous Tribes.

After six years of hard work learning all about the different types of Native American loan programs, the reqirements for those programs and the organizations involve, Dave has become a national figure in the arena of Native American mortgages. He has an excellent relationship with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and is on a first name basis with Tribal Leaders of the Mukilteo, Suquamish, Sammamish and other Washington State Tribes.

Dave's Native American mortgage activities do not stop at the border of his home state, Washington. On any given day you can find him working his way through the details of loans in Arizona, Oregon and several other states.
