Who Am I, Anyway?
In my view, being a successful Realtor© isn’t about piling up huge sales figures or being the number one agent in the office. It’s about you – about your transaction and my ability to help make it happen. It’s about handling each person who places his or her trust in me with the care, respect and skill I would provide for a family member.
You’ll find I’m not a high-pressure salesman. I prefer a more relaxed style that nonetheless pays attention to detail, arms you with the critical facts you need to make good decisions, and guides you through a successful transaction.
And you’ll also benefit from keen marketing skills (perfected in my ad agency days) to help your property get snapped right up, and sharp negotiating talents (honed bargaining with shrewd Hollywood big-wigs) to get you the highest price if you're a seller – and the lowest if you're a buyer. Your goal is my goal.
I was born and raised in New York City, but moved to Washington after college and have lived in the heart of DC ever since. I have a degree in Fine Arts, a passion for art, architecture and design, and an enormous appreciation for DC’s distinctive neighborhoods. My wife, Rita, and I live in an historic Adams Morgan townhouse which our cat graciously allows us to share.
I serve all of the District of Columbia and the close-in Maryland suburbs with extensive experience in both single-family dwellings and condominiums. And I am proud that many of my former clients have become close friends.
