In the Metroplex, Realtors take 65 - 70% of builder business to Homebuilders. Builders want us to sell as many of the homes in a sub-division as possible. In many cases, I sell several homes in a subdivision in the same year. So when the new home sales consultants see me, they want to work with me and will give me better promotions than someone walking off the streets. I sell several houses for them every year, and others just buy one, so I get the inside scoop.
I know the homebuilder scene in the DFW area, so I know which builders to go to and which to steer away from. Builders are not all created equal, some are better than others--unbeknost to homebuyer's who are unfamiliar with all the aspects of new home buying. I work to steer clear of builders that are questionable and that do not give full-value across the board.
Some areas are better than others, some sub-divisions are better than others. Some areas are blue chip areas and others are not.
