Helping Sellers Squeeze Every Last Dollar From Their Sale
The mid peninsula real estate market is extremely active and many people have the impression that all you have to do to sell a home is place a sign in the front lawn and hold out your hand for the check. The truth is that California's litigious and consumer protection oriented culture is fraught with opportunities for a seller to be sued and while selling a property is always possible, the objective is to maximize the returns to the seller's pocket and to make sure the property stays sold. To this end, I counsel sellers on the most cost effective ways to get value and practices that will minimize the chance of litigation. Some people have just turned over the keys and let me do all the preparation, which I am happy to do.
Helping Buyers to Find Their Home and Buy It for the Best Possible Price
Finding the right home is tricky and is just the beginning. I have a proven system to help you negotiate and actually purchase your new home for the best possible price. My network of contractors will be available to you after the purchase to help you to tailor the home to your particular tastes and needs.

Testimonials
Anna & Mathai Mammen (Sellers & Buyers)
Dear Don,
We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all your hard work, expertise, intuition, kindness and sense of humor throughout the stressful process of buying and selling our home. We are especially grateful for all the extra work you did in order to make our lives a little easier while we were dealing with the added stress of our very sick baby daughter Mia - like making house calls instead of asking us to come into your office. You also took the time to understand what we wanted in a house and when you found a house that you thought we would love, you were right! When we decided to make a bid, you worked until late at night to get our offer done, and did your negotiating magic to get us the house at very close to our first offer. Finally, you navigated us through the inspection process and made us feel confident in the quality of our purchase.
As terrific as you were during the purchase phase, we were even more impressed with the amount of knowledge and diligence that you showed in selling our existing house. You understood exactly what needed to be done to put the house into great shape in a slowing market. There were numerous bumps in the road along the way with various inspections, and your calmness and highly informed perspective along the way got us through. The staging was magnificent - we remember walking for the first time in the newly staged house and marveling at how refined and elegant the house looked. Again, we are grateful to you for going above and beyond by coordinating all the inspections, handymen and contractors; and letting us focus our time on Mia's health. We literally could not have done this without you. You were available by phone at all hours of the day and night, and we felt very taken care of. In the end, you managed to sell our house quickly and well above our asking price, despite the fact that there were two other similar houses selling in our neighborhood
This is the second time that we have used your services successfully, and it surely won't be the last. Thank you so much.

"...What we like about them: Professional. No pressure. Smart. Well connected in the community (helped us with all kinds of ancillary support stuff from insurance, to mortgage brokers). Gave good advice in negotiations and with experts (e.g.inspectors). Enjoyable to work with. Listened well. Asked good questions we wouldn?t have thought of. Honest..."
