My name is Dean Brown and my spouse' name is Karen Brown. We have been married for five years and have practiced real estate most of those five years. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (GO VOLS!!!) and I have an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland (Go TERPS!!!). It is indeed refreshing to work with professionals that do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it.
When my wife & I started looking for a Real Estate Agent we ask our Banker for help. That afternoon Dean called, and as you remember that lead to a couple of visits by the two of you to our home. You have indeed been two for the price of one, as you said in our first phone conversation.
The only point in which your initial estimates seem to have been off was the time needed for you to come up with a buyer. You said that the market at this time was running between 90 and 120 days. We listed with you on June 22, 2007 and we are to close the sale of our home on August 24th. You had a good contract for us in two weeks, for about the price I had in mind. The sale occurred so fast the delay in the final closing date was our need to get our affairs in order.
The people you referred to us to do the minor repairs needed, were both reputable and very reasonably priced. I am glad to say that we did pick the right team to market our house.
Either we were very satiated by lunch and overdue for a Sun. afternoon nap, or you guys came by after we drove up...cause we totally missed the SOLD addition to your sign when we came home from church.
