The Shoals is located in the Northwest part of Alabama, and includes the cities of Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Killen and Rogersville. We are a short drive from Huntsville, Alabama, and a little less than 2 hours from Birmingham and Nashville. The University of North Alabama (UNA - Go Lions!) is located in Florence, and Northwest Shoals Community College is in Muscle Shoals.

Six years ago, my family and I moved to Florence from Ohio, and Florence quickly felt like home. I can definitely relate to buyers relocating because I have had that experience firsthand through several different moves! My husband is a pilot for a local company and we have 2 daughters - 13 & 14 yrs. old. I love animals (4 dogs & 1 cat), enjoy reading when I have the time, love good music and play the piano. I also like to be outside...working in the yard, camping, or enjoying the beautiful rivers and creeks around the Shoals.
