Buying property is a complex and stressful task. In fact, it's often the biggest single investment you will make in your lifetime. At the same time, real estate transactions have become increasingly complicated. New technology, laws, procedures and the increasing sophistication of buyers and sellers require real estate practitioners to perform at an ever-increasing level of professionalism. So it's more important than ever that you work with a full-time agent who has a keen understanding of the real estate business.
When I passed my Real Estate exam, I can honestly say I had no idea what to expect. It's like giving birth. The Real Estate market is constantly changing, and no transaction is the same. I realized soon after my first transaction that if I was going to provide my client's with the quality service they deserve, I needed to go above and beyond the training I took to pass my original exam. I devote time in my schedule everyday to educate myself on current Economic and real estate trends. My goal is to always keep learning so that I can pass on the knowledge that I have gained to my client's.
I earned my GRI designation in August of 2005 after successfully completing a rigorous educational program. This program requires 92 hours of live course instruction from a statewide faculty. The GRI designation is considered the nation's #1 real estate designation, and only 1% of all Realtors have obtained this prestigious designation. GRI, stands for Graduate REALTOR® Institute, and is a nationally recognized professional real estate designation.
A normal Real Estate transaction in today's market requires the use of a computer. The internet has become a major tool & source of information to the consumer as well as the Real Estate professional. Most Real Estate contracts are typed online in Windforms, you have online marketing, searching the MLS for properties, e-mailing just to name a few of the tasks preformed online.
The e-PRO certification is the National Association of Realtors online training program that certifies that the real estate professional has been taught the Internet business principles required to remain on the cutting edge of technology. The certification course also guides students through completing a Technology Plan of Action for their business and introduces them to many techniques for evaluating and using Internet tools. I obtained my e-Pro certification in August 2005.
I earned my SRES designation in December 2005. The Seniors Real Estate Specialists® are REALTORS® qualified to meet the special needs and concerns of maturing Americans. A national program since 1998, The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® (SAREC®) offers a specific designation, SRES®, to identify those members who have successfully completed its education program along with other prerequisites.
By earning my SRES® designation, I have demonstrated necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel senior clients through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home. I've received special training, and get regular updates, and I am prepared to offer options and information needed for helping Seniors when making life changing decisions.
I earned my *ABR designation in September 2005. The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council ("REBAC") of the National Association of REALTORS® who meets the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
