Agent background:

12-year resident of Gwinnett county with extensive network of family and friends in throughout the metro-Atlanta area and Georgia. Additional residential real estate experience as the owner and primary inspector for Look Close Home Inspections serving the metro-Atlanta and surrounding areas for over 6 years, including work as a certified radon gas test provider. Web 2.0 user and enthusiast constantly expanding usage of new technologies and tools available to better market properties for my clients. Educational background includes BS degrees from both the University of Georgia and the University of St Louis, plus an MBA from Webster University. A diverse work and career history includes 10 years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force in research and development engineering as well as managing advertising and marketing for recruiting throughout the western states. The Air Force service was followed by 9 years as an outside sales engineer covering the southeast for Westinghouse Motor Company and calling on upper level management and engineering decision-makers at numerous industrial, commercial and manufacturing corporations.

Areas of Expertise

Interested in the growing residential and commercial markets for properties in mixed-use developments, which is a developing trend in the north Atlanta suburbs.  As a resident-owner of a condominium in a mixed-use development and the president of the condominium association, I'm very excited about the life style and the opportunities but also well aware of the special considerations to be addressed by buyers, sellers and tenants in this relatively new style of property for this area.

As a home inspector and business owner since 2002, I've also developed a special appreciation and interest in assisting and educating first-time or inexperienced buyers.  I've participated as a guest speaker in numerous home buyer seminars over the years.  I have extensive experience in training from previous career positions in sales and in the Air Force, which enable me to assess to knowledge and background of individuals, listen carefully to their concerns and questions, then clearly communicate the information to enable them to better understand the subject matter, which in this case is a real estate transaction.  I have a strong desire to continually learn and gather new information, techniques and skills which I use to better serve my clients.  If I don't know the answer to their questions, then I readily admit that I do not have the answer and immediately begin assisting them to find the answers.

                 

Hobbies and Interest

I love to be active and especially outside.  My home literally overlooks the Town Center Park in Suwanee and I enjoy walking in the park with my wife and my dog.  We also have the added benefit of being only about 1/2 mile walk from the Suwanee Greenway trails.

I love tinkering with my hands whether it is fixing something that is broken or taking something apart to learn how to fix it.  I like tinkering with electronics such as high-tech A-V equipment and computers, at least until I get in over my head to the point of frustration.

I'm an avid user of the internet and web-based marketing, which allows me to apply several of my other interests such as photography, graphc layout and design, writing, researching, and playing with new computer applications to make it all look and sound cool.  I'm also getting into video production and editing on a very low level.
