About Me:
A native southern Illinoisan, my husband and I moved back "home' a few years back; having lived in Denver Iowa (1982-1990) and Hemet, California(1990 -2004). My husband and I were fortunate enough to take advantage of a then-booming CA real estate market to leave with a few more dollars than we came in with. Looks like we left just in the nick of time, as our old home, which sold in 8 days with a full-price offer has now been on the market for approximately 3 months as a REPO, needing some TLC. (We all know what that means!) I had a wonderful RE agent when we bought our IL home and after I had been here about 6 months, she called me and asked if I would be interested in coming to work (in the Accounting Department) at the Century 21 office where she worked. I was already working, but decided to check into the particulars. Well, it was the absolute best decision I could have ever made, as I love my job and all the folks who work here. I tell everyone that Judy was definitely a full-service agent, not only did she find me a new home, but also a job! I have been with C21 House of Realty since December 2005 and became licensed as a Realtor/Personal Assistant to Agent Brenda HIlliard, but plan to keep working in the Accounting Dept as well. My husband, Lyndal, is a certified fair manager and has managed fairs in Illinois, Iowa and California. We have 2 sons; Ryan, 30, who lives in Banning, CA (soon to be a dad in July 2009, which makes me a GRANDMA)and Jordan, 27, who currently lives here in Marion & just graduated from John A Logan College. We also have an assortment of pets; cats, dogs and a Shih Tzu Grand-dog named Turner. I love to garden, cook, bake(love to enter fair competitions), entertain, bird-watching, the movies and travel. We are big St Louis Cardinal and SIU Saluki fans! I previously worked in the banking industry for over 16 years and in a dental front office for 5 years.
