About Dana Harris
Dana gained an appreciation for home purchasing and selling at a very young age. The son of a career U.S. Navy Master Chief, he moved many times throughout his childhood and teenage years as his father served our country. Growing up mostly in Southern California and Florida, he also spent brief periods on the East Coast and in the Mid-West and became well versed in the "art of relocation".
He has an extensive background in management, technology and real estate that covers almost 30 years. Early in his career he worked for several Fortune 500 technology companies here in California including Nortel, SGS-Thomson, NexGen, AMD and AMCC. He also started and ran his own business located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he lived for 7 years. He has been a licensed real estate agent in California, Idaho and Wyoming and has been involved in many different types of transactions from single-family homes, condos, large land parcels, light commercial and 1031 exchanges. His extensive business background gives him an excellent perspective of what it takes to get results while providing unparalleled service.
Dana is always actively involved in the community. He has served on the boards of the Fairbanks Highlands Homeowners Association and the Jackson Hole Music Experience. He has also been a youth soccer coach, community volunteer and a volunteer at his children's schools. Dana has volunteered for and/or financially supported many local organizations including The Stephen Birch Aquarium, The Helen Woodward Animal Center, Del Mar Lifeguards and the San Diego Chapter of The Surfrider Foundation. He is also a member of 1% For The Planet. In his free time he enjoys photography, surfing, snowboarding, traveling, golfing and cycling.
Dana specializes in the North County Coastal area of San Diego County which includes La Jolla, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Fairbanks Ranch, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Cardiff, Encinitas, Leucadia, La Costa and Carlsbad. In addition, as a longtime San Diego resident, he is familiar with and has lived and worked in many other areas in the county including Penasquitos, Poway and Rancho Bernardo.
