About Us:

I love real estate!  Everything about it from start to finish. Maybe I gripe a bit about things, but when all is said and done, I wouldn't have any other job in the world.  It took me 15 years to decide I needed to have my own office and do it my own way.  I've been doing that now since October 1, 2008 and in spite of the current market, I haven't regretted a moment.  My husband is my constant supporter and the one who convinced me that this was the right road to go down.

I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, Washington Association of Realtors, Long Beach Merchants Association, Ilwaco Merchants Association, Rotary, Clatsop Weavers and Spinners Guild and Peninsula Arts Association.  I am a board member for South Pacific County Humane Society and a licensed Real Estate Instructor for the state of Washington.

I have been lucky enough to live on the beautiful Long Beach Peninsula since 1992.   In my free time I enjoy driving my MG, especially with the top down.  I also spend as much time as possible in my studio with my looms and spinning wheel.  I knit, do kumihimo braiding and play in the garden when I can.
 
I share my home with my wonderful husband, Charlie, who got me started on MGs (we have several!) and some beautiful cats: Smokey, Jake & Elwood (the twins) Frank with the beautiful blue eyes, Gabby, the American Shorthair Silver Tabby with attitude and her cousin, Julie, the popeye cat.  Our latest addition is Porsche, the boxer puppy!

Areas of Expertise

At the beach you need to be a specialist in just about everything!  I list and sell RV lots, building lots, investment property, residential of all sorts (retirement, full time living, 2nd homes), commercial, condos, you name it!  And I love all of it.  I believe it takes patience and persevence to make a career in real estate.  Follow up is key!

About 10 years ago, my husband, Kent, and I came to the Peninsula on a winter get-away. We liked it so much that we decided to look for a vacation home here. We met Cheri and our search began. Every time we would come to look at properties our idea of what we wanted would change. Cheri was a gem; she would always have several places for us to look at with a smile on her face. It took us two years to find the vacation home we wanted. Cheri never gave up on us and was always patient, honest and upbeat. Four years ago, we moved to the Peninsula full time. Our little vacation home was great for a weekend or even a week, but we needed a bigger place living here full time. So once again, Cheri started helping us look. We looked at properties and homes, put offers on a few places, none of which were accepted. After over a year of looking, Cheri found our piece of land on the bay to build our home. I have been amazed at Cheri’s patience with us, never throwing in the towel (I’m sure at times she thought about it). Our house is now being constructed and we will be moving in this fall. At that time our wonderful little vacation home will go on the market. And, guess who we will have it listed with? Kent and I value Cheri’s friendship and integrity.
