Dana Mundy is a Certified Mortgage Planner® and the Branch Manager of AmeriChoice Home Loans, of Richland, a branch office of Seattle Mortgage. She is also a National Trainer and Account Representative for HomesByLender.com, a web-based service that allows homeowners to showcase their homes "for sale by owner" to mortgage-qualified buyers at no cost or obligation. In 2008 Dana founded HouseHuntingSafaris.com. An online marketing resource for loan officers and Realtors. Her Foreclosure Safaris gained local, state and national media attention.
A recognized leader throughout the mortgage industry, Ms. Mundy is a regular contributor to Loan Officer Magazine, LoanToolbox.com, and MortgageGirlfriends.com. She is also a frequently featured speaker at high profile national loan industry conferences, including Loan Toolbox's Business Plan 2007, held in Las Vegas in December 2006; Business Plan 2008 held in Las Vegas in October 2007; and Mortgage Girlfriends' Mastermind Retreat 2008, held in Phoenix in October 2007. Ms. Mundy was featured on the Business Plan 2007 Training DVD, and was a consultant on the launch of Quickshow.com's new mortgage-specific product line. She is a faculty member of MortgageGirlfriends.com, a national online resource for women who work in the mortgage industry. Dana has written articles featured in Tri-Cities Journal of Business, Loan Officer Magazine and has been a frequent resource for the Tri-City Herald.
With over 15 years of experience as a loan officer in the Tri-Cities, WA, Ms. Mundy has won numerous industry and community service awards, including the Seattle Mortgage President's Club Award (2002 to 2006); Loan Toolbox's National Great Ideas Contest Winner (2006); Tri-City Home Builder's Association MAME Award Recipient for best direct mail piece (2005) and best magazine campaign (2004); Seattle Mortgage Top Gun Production Award (2002 and 2003); Tri-City Association of Realtors Affiliate of the Year (1998); and Tri-City Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Club Outstanding Volunteer, Leadership and Service Award (1997-2000).
