At age 13, I discovered that I had a talent for sales when I made homemade cookies and breads and sold them to neighbors and friends. I have worked in sales ever since, and have always been a Top Producer in my field, selling bakery, toys, and men's clothing. I enjoyed a sound family system, which fostered a strong work ethic, responsibility, and a respect and concern for others.
I graduated from The University of Colorado in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. I was a sales manager in the health club industry for several years learning excellent sales and negotiating skills.
I'm the proud mother of two young adults. My oldest son Logan is active in fishing and bodybuilding. After attending The University of Colorado for two years, he decided to follow in his mother's footsteps as a realtor. He specializes in investment properties, fix & flips and first-time home buyers.
My youngest son Joe is currently enrolled at The University of Colorado in Boulder. He is interested in law, journalism and philosophy. He has made the Honor Role and the Dean's List for two consecutive years and has a passion for learning. My current interests include dancing, gourmet cooking, entertaining, reading and redecorating. I also enjoy hiking, working out at the gym, and am looking forward to more travel. Broomfield, CO | We decided to buy a house in Boulder that we could someday retire to, and in the meantime rent out to cover mortgage expenses. The problem is that we live in California. We asked two of our good friends that live in Boulder how we would even begin to accomplish such a task. They both said in unison "Call Donna Demis". So we called Donna Demis, and now we are the proud owners of a home in Boulder that will be a great rental as well as a home for us in the future. Donna was able to preview houses, and tell us if it would meet our needs or not. Her screening allowed us to move confidently on to the next property for consideration. Campbell, CA | | You are such a Great Decorator! Donna, I would like to acknowledge your amazing "re-do" of my living room several months ago. I've owned my home for 19 years and have always placed the furniture in the same locations within the room. Since it's a fairly large room with a formal fireplace at one end and a large bay window on one wall, it seemed like I had no choices. I got a kick out of you just taking charge and saying basically, "stand back and watch me work" and as little as you are, you bent over and started to move huge sofas, chairs, and a very heavy coffee table. In a matter of minutes, the room was "reinvented" and seemed larger, yet had a cozy feeling. Moving the sofas away from their traditional spots and having them sit slanted in the room (Feng Shui) made all the difference. The largest compliment came from an Award Winning (Mame, Bar) Interior Designer, Klea Jones who has owned her own business, Hamilton Jones Design Group for 15 years and does all the interiors for the DR Horton/Melody Series and other large home builders and absolutely raved about the new look. She didn't just rave once, but every time she came over, she raved.
