About Me:

I have been a Residential Mortgage loan officer since 1996.  After 12 plus years in the Cape May County (NJ) real estate market, I have relocated with my family to the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.  I have a tremendous amount of lending experience working with the real estate industry and buyers on a full spectrum of property types.  From primary residences to vacation homes and investment properties, I have the experience to tackle whatever you can throw at me.

I am the Mortgage Banker for First Citizens Bank in the Jacksonville, NC market.  We offer FHA, VA and USDA loans, as well as the NCHFA products and a variety of conforming and jumbo loan products.  My office is in our Jacksonville Main branch, however, I am available to meet with potential clients at their convenience.

Call me with your lending needs and experience the quality customer service that First Citizens Bank is known for.

Areas of Expertise

I work primarily with local real estate offices, counseling and prequalifying potential buyers for mortgage financing.  I have the ability to meet with clients over the phone or in person to explore their financing options.  Along with conforming and non conforming loan products, I also have the ability to provide construction-to-permanent financing and government loan programs, such as FHA, VA and the USDA Rural Loan program.

Testimonials

"When I decided to refinance our house I did what most consumers would and contacted several different mortgage companies, and started to shop around for the best rates and services.  This started back in May of this year while I was still deployed to Iraq.  This process has taken a few months due to my deployment, and the constantly changing market.  Throughout all of those changes Doug did his best to keep me up-to-date on rates. . . . He went above and beyond to help me in any way possible. . . . .

This has been a long and tedious process, and I wanted you to know that Doug was the only mortgage banker that followed through.  While some other bankers had slightly better rates they were nowhere close to the save on personal service.  I chose to stay with First Citizen because of the personal service I received.  It is not always the lowest price that wins the customer, sometimes it is how they are treated."
