Before establishing Southern Web Group, Drew Barton held positions for CNN.com, Interland (now Web.com), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and BellSouth.

Drew is a member of the Keller Williams Internet Mastermind Group.

In 2004, he was named one of Atlanta's top rising stars under 40 years old by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. 

In addition to having earned the Eagle Scout rank, Drew holds a bachelor's degree from Emory University.
