We periodically teach two educational seminars. One is for first time home buyers. In this education oriented seminar, Dr. Shafer covers the basics of mortgage lending and home buying. Participants are taught the step by step procedures for buying homes. The class covers home buying from A to Z; credit worthiness, pre-approval, choosing the right professionals, right through the steps of closing.
The second seminar is asset optimization. This seminar aimed at folks with significant equity positions in real estate demonstrates how to optimize that equity and reduce one's risk. Taking aim at persistant myths of home ownership (mortgages bad; equity good), this seminar gives individuals the tools and knowledge that corporations and super wealthy individuals use to dramatically increase wealth.
