From London, England originally, I grew up in Germany, South Africa and Ireland before spending almost a decade back in the UK. Moved to the US in 1993 and spent several years in New York working on Wall Street. Traveled extensively to Europe and Asia before one-too-many New York winters and falling in love with and moving to Arizona in 1997.
I have been fortunate to have had a varied and interesting career which has taken me around the world on both professional and personal travel. I been lucky to have met and worked with some of the leading technical and business people in a number of industries. My biggest professional achievements include managing three global network implementations (over 2,000 users) and the introduction of the first Windows NT integrated trading system on Wall street. I was profiled in the 1998 edition of Who's Who in Information Technology and have worked for several Fortune 500 companies including Credit Suisse, Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) and Lehman Brothers.
My wife Jill and I have a daughter, Erin, who is 19 (going on 35) independent and attending college. We own two golden retrievers Ben and Buddy. Our two cats, Compaq and Ellie complete the ensemble. My father-in-law lives with us while he goes through treatment for cancer.
My interests include history, current events, photography, travel, reading, fishing, hiking, shooting, art and "B" horror movies.

I'd had the same website for years. I even forgot about it and was occasionally reminded when someone brought a coupon in or I paid the yearly hosting fee. My wife was referred to JDE by a friend of hers and we first looked at their information online.
