About Us:

Dwayne Hicks became licensed as a Sales Associate in the state of Georgia in January, 2003. He joined his brother, Scotty Hicks at West Georgia Realty one month later. He became an Associate Broker in January, 2006. Recently United Country West Georgia Realty merged with Real Estate West to become Metro West Realty. Dwayne serves as the managing broker.

Dwayne and his wife, Tina and family live near Roopville, just south of Carrollton. They are active members of Southern Hills Christian Church - Carrollton, Georgia. Dwayne served 15 years as Associate Minister at First Christian Church in Carrollton. Dwayne earned a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Johnson Bible College as well as a M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from the State University of West Georgia. He enjoys hanging out with his family, singing and playing songs on his guitar that honor God.

Areas of Expertise

I work mainly with residential buyers and sellers. I really enjoy working with first-time home buyers and helping them learn the whole home buying process. I have always enjoyed education and seeing the "light" come on when someone learns a new concept.

I have recently been studying the commercial market. It is very complex, yet interesting.

I earned my E-Pro designation recently.
