Ed Gillespie worked with me and my husband to obtain a loan for my ‘first-time buyer' house. Ed was more than just my loan broker. He kept in touch with my realtor; some times on an hourly basis because my purchase was a foreclosure and the selling realtor and the selling bank were ‘difficult' to work with. Ed developed a great relationship with my realtor and with me that has continued after the sale (almost a year now!).
Ed followed up every conversation on the phone with an email, detailing all the points that were covered, forwarding any necessary paperwork, etc. He never failed to impress me with his professionalism, yet he always was able to show his sense of humor and humanity. When I was getting frustrated with the selling bank, he was there with assurances and guidance. Ed didn't have to listen to me regarding the selling bank, only getting my loan from him, yet he was there every time I called. My realtor and Ed were both there for me. I think they talked almost hourly the last two days of escrow!
